Why manual?
With a licence obtained in a manual car you may drive both manual and automatic cars. So you are not limited in the cars you drive later on.
What do you learn on top?
- Pulling away and stopping with the clutch.
- Changing gear at the right moment, in town and on the motorway.
- Hill starts, for example at bridges.
How the lessons work
- You request a trial lesson. Afterwards you get lesson advice.
- You choose a package and plan your 60-minute lessons, also in the evening or on Saturdays (by arrangement).
- Your instructor picks you up and drops you off after every lesson.
- Once you are ready, we book your practical exam with the CBR.

How much do manual driving lessons cost at Rijschool All Drive?
A 60-minute lesson costs €65. Packages including the CBR practical exam start at €1,650 for 20 lessons.
Automatic or manual: which should I choose?
With a manual licence you may drive both types of car. If you would rather focus on traffic only, automatic can be more comfortable. We discuss what suits you during the trial lesson.
How many lessons do I need?
On average 20 to 25 lessons, depending on your experience.
